1. Find a strategic business partner.
Look for partner or mentor that has not only achieved success,
but achieved it in a manner you wish to achieve it yourself. For
example if someone created a residual income off of talking to
strangers and giving them a business card and that's not what
fits your personality and you can't see yourself doing that they
are probably not a good partner for you. Find what fits your
personality.
2. Brand your name and business. You can easily
do this by just writing articles and submitting them
to e-zines or web sites for republishing.
3. Remember to take a little time out of your day
or week to brainstorm. New ideas are usually the
difference between success and failure.
4. Take risks to improve your business. Sometimes
businesses don't want to advertise unless it's free,
sometimes you have to spend money to get results.
5. Always market using a funded proposal. Offer a
front end sale and then later introduce your prospect
to your business. This "qualifies" the person for spending
your time with them. Time is valuable. If you get on the
phone with every person who comes to your website and
they are not of the same mindset as you, you are wasting
your time and their time.
6. Include emotional words in your advertisements.
Use ones like love, security, relief, freedom, happy,
satisfaction, fun, etc.
7. Have an auto responder (and your own capture page)
Systems will come and go but you shouldn't have to leave
your prospects when you leave a system. Without an
autoresponder you will die a fast death in Internet
marketing. The money IS in the list. It's essential.
8. Model other successful business or people. I'm
not saying out right copy them, but practice some
of the same habits that have made them succeed.
9. Ask people online to review your web site. You
can use the comments you get to improve your web
site or you may turn the reviewer into a customer.
10. Never stop learning. When it comes to Internet
marketing you must never think you have "mastered"
it. You must always continue to learn. Getting prospects
to your business is the only way to continue to prosper.
I will be expanding on these techniques in the next couple of weeks. Tip to help you out depending on your marketing level look at these items and see what you are doing and what you aren't doing. Then decide what you need to learn first. To give you a hint the first thing you need to start with is a funded proposal. It could be the most important thing on this list.

Would You Like To Learn How To Generate Quality MLM Leads On Your Own?

Anyone who has been started a network marketing business or has been in a network marketing business for any amount of time knows the biggest problem most marketers run in to is generating quality mlm leads. A lot of marketers end up in the situation where they need to buy leads that a company has generated but most of these people find in most cases these are not always quality mlm leads. A lot of them have been sold to multiple people, they have filled out various forms on the internet looking for a job not a business or they are expecting if they were looking online for a business they don't want to talk with someone on the phone.
For most network marketers to have any kind of long term success they need to learn how to generate quality mlm leads on their own. There are many programs out there that can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars that promise you all these things but don't deliver. A lot of them result in endless programs later that you need to buy to learn a particular way to market online. In my research I have found that one particular program does seem to fix all of these problems. The biggest key to generating quality mlm leads first and foremost is using a funded proposal program. What is a funded proposal? You offer something of value to others for a small fee. Why would asking someone to pay for something be so important? If someone is willing to pay $20-$25 for something that can really provide value to solve a problem they have then you know they are serious. It's a small fee but those who skip over it because of the small fee are really not that serious about either their business or improving their online marketing skills. By using a funded proposal those who pay that small fee you know are serious and therefore a quality mlm lead.

How Important Is Lead Generation?
Anyone who has looked at attempted or is currently in a home based business or any type of internet business would probably agree that the most important thing to any business is having enough people to talk to.
Lead generation can be accomplished many different ways. Some people choose to buy leads whether they are new to the industry or even experienced. Some people feel it is important to always be talking to someone. I definitely agree that that is important. But I think one of the best things that can be taught in the industry is the craft of lead generation.
What do I mean by that? For some it's very simple. They are skilled marketers they know what it takes to drive traffic to their website or business opportunity. For others it's not that easy. It involves a lot research, trail and error, money and sometimes failure which I am sure you would agree, anyone in the internet marketing industry hates!
For many it involves changing the their way of thinking about their home based business. Many internet marketers feel as I said before that they need to be talking to prospects all the time. While it is important that you do speak with prospects in this internet impersonal world we market in, the most important thing you can do is talk with the RIGHT prospects. 80% of your time you have to spend on your home based business whether it's full time or part time should be spent generating leads and 20% of your time should be spent talking to them. Some internet marketers have it the other way around.
The reason that is so important is because you want to be talking to the RIGHT prospects. Many prospects may be thinking about a home based business but some tend to check out everything that comes along. Wouldn't it be better for you to submit an ad about your opportunity, a prospect see that ad and become intrigued and call YOU! It's much easier to weed through the tire kickers that way don't you think? Getting the right traffic to your site through your own lead generation is key to internet marketing success.
I know you are reading this thinking that all sounds good but how do I do that. Would you believe that there are ways to do that yourself without spending millions of dollars, actually you will probably spend less than that batch of leads you are about to buy and spend countless hours calling. While internet marketing can be difficult to learn sometimes there are programs out there that make it much easier than you think.
