My name is Karen Pore and I have been working at home for about a year now and enjoying it tremendously! In the state our economy is in at this time there has never been a more important time to have a home business. There are layoffs around every corner and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I came to a point in my life at 30 years old that I realized what my parent's and my grandparent's had done could no longer suffice in the world we live in.
I have grandparent's and great grand parents who had and continue to work well past the point they physically should. I watched my great grandpa work his entire life, from 13 years old on for his family and for his retirement only t come to a point after being retired for over 20 years from Texaco to loose everything. All of his retirement because they filed for reorganization.
My grandmother still works at a grocery store to make ends meat. Now my mother is at the point where she should retire and that is not possible.....Why do I tell you all this? Residual income has NEVER been more important than it is now. Why would I not spend my time building a business that would not have me retire in 40 years on 40% of my salary? Will my needs go down at that age? I don't think so!
I also enjoy the time I get to spend with my children. Knowing that I can walk away for a month to enjoy a vacation and know that money is still going to be coming in. Not many of us have millions of dollars in the bank we can collect interest off of. That is the only other way to secure you future.....so network marketing is my future.
