Will Systems Be The Death Of Your Business?

Let's face it there are a lot of great "systems" out there. Some of these systems are designed to "close and train" your members, some are designed to generate some extra advertising money.

My questions is are these systems going to be the death of your business? Are you relying on these systems to develop and train your prospects? Are you using the system in the way it's intended to be?

.......using it as intended? That's an interesting question......

I'm not sure if you are aware of this or not but every system...or system of value is designed to build a list. Your prospects visit a website, look at a compelling website that drives them to put in their information at the bottom of the page to go to the next page. More often than not the landing page is full of a lot of hype and excitement to drive your prospect to fill out that form!

Once your prospect is in the system they will start receiving emails from the auto-responder setup by the owner of the system. Normally, this series of letters is designed to promote the system your prospect came through with the intent to have your prospect upgrade to a paid member.

In essence, most of these systems are designed to sell something to your prospect, whether it's a product, service or membership.

But the first thing that happens is your visitor becomes a prospect by filling out the form.

So where am I going with this ... well, the problem as I see it is that many of these programs change or disappear or become obsolete. And that is where people stop, it's at this point they blame the system on their own failure to grow.

The truth is ... the system generated prospects for you and if this system goes or changes ... you still have prospects from the system that you can take with you.

Systems come and go, they are redesigned to capture a new market. Capture pages will always change but in the end they actually are the same. Systems are developed to build lists.

So instead of focusing so much on systems you need to focus on what is most important building your list.

Focus on what's important ... building your list. It's your list that will help you become successful in business ... without one, you are sure to fail. Focus your online advertising on a system that is building your list. If the system changes, simply edit what you are advertising and continue to build your list.

Whether you are using System A, System B or your own lead capture system ... keep your focus on the people you are connecting with not on the 'system' you are using. Systems come and systems go ... people are here to stay.

Get to know your people.

You Can Get Generate Targeted Website Traffic, Not Traffic Accident

Copyright © Karen Pore, Your Partner In Online Success

You can generate targeted website traffic to your website pretty easily if you just dedicate a little time each day to it. It is the number one way to build your business. But how do you do get people to visit your website? How do you ensure that when someone Googles key words associated with the content reflected on your website, that it is your site that appears at the top of the search results? Simply put: you must promote your website through a number of methods and channels. And pick those channel appropriately so that you generate targeted website traffic. The people you really want to see it! Here are some of the most effective ways to bring traffic to your website:

One thing you can do is get listed with multiple search engines. Don’t stop at Google, as there as numerous search engines out there, including: AltaVista, Metacrawler, Ask, Yahoo, MSN and newly launched Bing. Make sure you are listed with at least three major search engines. Statistics show that nearly 50% of website traffic results from search engines. The three biggest search engines out there are: Google, MSN and Yahoo. Don’t stop there, though. Keep in mind search engines that are in your area of interest/expertise; in other words, do your research to find out which engines people use to find out about the product or service you’re promoting.

Create a blog. It’s so easy and it’s so loved by search engines. Once you’ve created a blog, don’t forget to update it as frequently as possible. If you can post something on it daily, then do so; at the minimum, make sure you consistently post on your blog once or twice a week. When you are posting thing of keywords that are related to your business or website and be sure you post a link at the end of your blog entry back to your website. By sticking with keywords that are relevant to what a prospect will be looking for to find you, this will generate targeted website traffic back to your site. Stale content is bad for search engines. Don’t forget to link your blog to your website.

Promotion through social networking. Maybe you don’t like Facebook because you honestly don’t care what somebody ate for breakfast. But don’t forget that social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and even basic emails are vital marketing tools. Combine this with business cards and face-to-face communication and you have a recipe for marketing success. Studies show at least 20% of website traffic results from word-of-mouth, so get connected and never stop promoting your business.

Banner advertising. Studies show that banner ads tend to be better remembered than other forms of advertising. You can pay to post your banner ads on other people’s sites, or why not look into banner trading? Seek out other companies that are not your direct competition and see if they would be willing to trade banners with you. You may be advertising for them, but they’re also advertising for you - and it’s all for free. Check it out.

These are only some of the ways to increase traffic to your website. The most important thing to keep in mind is to keep your content fresh, link to as many affiliate sites as possible and to promote - whether through social networking, face-to-face or emails. Think about the broad keywords out there that will drive the right traffic that you want. Drive traffic to website, not away from it.

Welcome to the superhighway, where rush hour is welcome - and traffic accidents are to be avoided.

The Right Steps For Starting An Online Home Business

Copyright © Karen Pore, Your Partner In Online Success

If you have recently started an online business, you are probably starting to realize that the biggest obstacle to overcome is learning how to market correctly. The right marketing campaign will target your audience and draw traffic to your website. The wrong marketing campaign will wind up frustrating you and costing you a lot of hard-earned money. Starting an Online Home Business is not the hard part – it’s developing the right marketing campaign that can be a bit of a struggle.

When you think marketing for your online business, think traffic. Getting traffic to your website is the number one way to build your home-based business. But what you want is to not only drive initial traffic to your website, but to make sure you maintain a high rank with search engines so that your target audience will keep coming back. So, if you’re Starting an Online Home Business, pay close attention to the following advice:

Firstly, get your website listed with a number of search engines. You may want to list yourself with search databases that are in your area of expertise. For example, if you have a website that sells travel packages, do your research to find out which search engines are primarily used for travel. Google, MSN and Yahoo are the three most popular search engines, so your first step is to make sure you are listed with at least one of these engines, if not all of them.

Secondly, anyone who is Starting an Online Home Business needs to understand the importance of content-based Internet marketing. By getting articles and press releases written about your online business, you will increase your traffic flow by an average of 30%. If you’re not a writer, not to worry, as there are many affordable article-writing services out there. Articles and press releases establish your online presence better than any other form of paid advertising will.

Thirdly, either start an e-zine or submit articles to existing e-zines. Don’t forget to provide your website link and contact info at the end of the article. Really focus on all you can get out of e-zines: trading banner ads and classifieds, submitting articles to all available free e-zines out there and starting an online forum or message board linked to your e-zine of choice. If you’re Starting an Online Home Business, think e-zines and the multiple benefits you will get from using them.

Finally, anyone who is Starting an Online Home Business needs to immediately pool together all the available social networking mediums that are out there: Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, MSN, email lists and blogs. You don’t have to use all the mediums out there, but make sure you’re using two or three (for example, Facebook and one or two blog sites). Social networking mediums such as these are free, simple to use and great ways to connect with people and market your product.

The world of home-based businesses is like any other entrepreneurial industry – it takes work, commitment and a willingness to never stop promoting. The reason so many people fail at their online business is because they don’t understand the fundamentals of developing an online marketing campaign that works. Don’t be left in the dust by your online competitors: develop the right marketing campaign when Starting an Online Home Business today!

MLM Website Building, This Could Make Or Break Your Business

Copyright © Karen Pore, Your Partner In Online Success

You have seen thousands of business opportunity websites out there and guess what, they all look the same. If you are using a replicated website from your company I am sorry to tell you it's not going to get you very far. Not only are you potential prospects probably seeing a pretty generic website, they are seeing multiple times from many other people. Now we all know that a prospect does need to see your website quite a few times before they may act. But when you are using a replicated can you be sure they won't see your and then act on someone else's? Something to think about huh?

MLM website building believe it or not does not have to be complicated! I really does. Having your own auto responder is actually I would say ten times more important in mlm website building than the website itself. Why you might ask? After all you have to have an attractive website to get prospects to see it. Well that's true, but if you do the work or spend the money on the advertising to get them to your website and have no way to follow up with that prospect days, months even years later you just wasted that money or time to get them to your website.

Again as I said before prospects usually need to see the same things multiple times (the usual number is 10) before they ever even begin to act on anything. So what should you do? You may need to use a generic website if you business provides their business presentation within the website..you don't want to have to give a presentation yourself so they best way around that is build a general capture page. MLM website building can be extremely easy. There are a lot of programs out there with simple easy templates to use. You can write a few little tag lines, add a picture or video (videos perform a lot better) and just enough information to entice your prospect to fill out your auto responder for to either get to your presentation or replicated page. Depending on what your business or program you can decide where to end that prospect to after they have filled out the form.

I found the process a little intimidating about a year ago, but now I find myself throwing together websites of different areas I want to target in 10-15 min. There are so many programs out there.

Here is the easiest website builder I have found that I use a lot and find simple and easy.

So don't get intimidated by all this. MLM website building doesn't have to complicated or cost you thousands of dollars. Just follow it one step at a time and with practice it will become perfect.

How Can I Generate Qualified MLM Leads

Copyright © Karen Pore, Your Partner In Online Success

If you are like many marketers out there you are probably wondering how in the world can I generate qualified mlm leads? After all we can all spend tons of money on leads, spending tons of time calling them and get a big fat no where! But don't worry, there are alternatives out there. The best way to great leads is to generate them yourself! Easier said than done you might say...well that's not really true anymore. So much of the mlm marketing world has begun to happen on the internet. That is such a great thing. MLMers are no longer limited to just people they personally know anymore. They are able to have basically able to have the world at their fingertips.

Now don't get ahead of yourself. There are strategies that you need to have in place to be able to generate a qualified mlm lead. You don't just want those people who go around searching the internet and opting in to every website they happen to see just to collect some information. I hate to break it to you but 70% of those people will never do ANYTHING..no matter how good you know your business is. The best way to generate a targeted prospect is using a funded proposal. I started using the funded proposal concept this year in my business and wow what a huge difference it has made. Not only are prospects calling me instead of me wasting time calling all those opt ins, but they are targeted qualified prospects.

The funded proposal basically works like this. Offer something of value for a small fee to your prospect..that something of value can vary from online marketing information, home based business guides..there are so many things. It really depends on what your business is. You want to use a funded proposal that suits the business you are in so that you are generating the right prospect. Now as I said you want to charge a small fee. Usually anywhere from $10-$50. Yes your opt in list may go down using a funded proposal instead of just a regular capture page..but wouldn't you rather have a more targeted prospect. You are more likely to have a great prospect to talk to or even calling you rather than that person that went around and opted in to every capture page that they saw. I sure would.

For some great examples of online marketing, network marketing or MLM funded proposals I have co-founded a system called OMS (Online Marketing Success), if you fall in to any of those three categories then the affiliate program I have put together will really help you with getting some targeted prospects. If you are new to marketing online it's also a great place to learn how to start. The system even comes with a free autoresponder. It's a great system for the internet newbie or the internet pro who just wants to broaden their funded proposal portfolio.

Does Auto-Pilot Recruiting Really Work?

Copyright © Karen Pore, Your Partner In Online Success

A lot of people wonder if auto-pilot recruiting actually works or if it's a myth. I think for most networkers and people who haven't been around the Internet long it's almost impossible to believe that you can recruit people into your business on 100% Auto Pilot.

I still remember, when I use to HOUND people, chase them down, and struggle so badly to even talk to people about my business (never mind recruit them)...

I couldn't have imagined only a few years later I would recruit 100's people a month without talking to almost any of them.

Automatic Recruiting is not only POSSIBLE...I've found its also far 'easier' & more 'duplicatable'.
Now, that's not to say it doesn't take work, because of COURSE it does.

But it just takes a different kind of work.

Instead of chasing down prospects, harassing people in grocery store lines, buying useless leads to cold call... or any of that GARBAGE we are all taught by the 'old-timers' of this industry.

If you want to experience what its like to have 'Auto Pilot' recruiting happening in your business around the clock...you simply need to teach yourself a different set of skills then you're currently being taught.

For instance... the mechanics of auto pilot recruiting have to do with:

1. Creating a great lead capture page.
2. Driving good traffic to that lead capture page.
3. Setting up a 'effective' sales funnel (such as a funded proposal) that sells your business FOR YOU on autopilot & creates 'upfront' cash to pay for ongoing advertising.
4. Testing and refining your conversion processes.

Now, does all that take work?

Sure it does! It can take a bunch of work.

But does signing up 100's of new people each month without talking to any of them sound like something you'd like to experience? I'll bet you you would LOVE to trade places with me right now. :-)

Because at the end of the day... ANY AND ALL success will come down to the pure 'Energy and Effort' you put it.

Most people are being taught how to do it what I call the 'Old School' ways...

I'm now teaching people how to do it the 'New School' ways.

Where you put TECHNOLOGY at work for you...
You put INGENUITY at work for you...
You put CREATIVITY at work for you...
And you reap benefits, cash flow, and success 10x quicker than what most people ever will in this industry.

So, moral of the story is... Auto Pilot recruiting is no Myth.

Autopilot recruiting is as factual as it gets. You just have to decide which way you want to build the business.
